2026 British Grand Prix - Friday

Audi Revolut F1 Team took to the track for the opening day of action at the British Grand Prix. Today, the Silverstone Sprint weekend got underway with a single practice session followed by Sprint Qualifying. The team’s focus throughout Friday centred on maximising the limited preparation time available, with Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto working to optimise the Audi R26 around one of Formula 1’s fastest and most demanding circuits. The sole practice session proved encouraging, with Nico finishing inside the top ten and providing the team with a solid foundation ahead of the first competitive session of the weekend. Limited practice time at Sprint weekends always puts an added emphasis on the afternoon session and while a place in SQ3 ultimately remained just out of reach, the data gathered across Friday leaves us well placed for the Sprint race tomorrow as we continue refining set-up package for the rest of the weekend.

2026 Monaco Grand Prix - Sunday

Audi Revolut F1 Team suffered heartbreak at the Monaco Grand Prix, as a good display of pace by Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto went unrewarded. Following a race of attrition on the streets of Monte-Carlo, with Safety Cars, a red flag and a late-race restart, the team believed to have scored points, owing to Nico’s ninth place at the flag – only for a penalty to demote the German to 14th place. Team-mate, Gabriel Bortoleto, had an eventful afternoon as his car failed to launch during the pre-race procedures: a quick intervention by the crew allowed him to rejoin with a pit-lane start, and he fought his way patiently to climb to P12 at the flag. Despite the good pace shown both earlier in the weekend and during the race, the team leaves the Principality with no points to show for its efforts. The performance displayed on the circuit, however, gives confidence for a competitive showing in the next events, starting next week in Barcelona.

2026 Monaco Grand Prix - Saturday

Audi Revolut F1 Team was unable to turn its solid pace into a good result in qualifying for the Monaco Grand Prix, with Nico Hulkenberg setting the 13th fastest time, ahead of Gabriel Bortoleto in 16th. It was a day of missed opportunities for the team, which had consistently occupied the top ten in every practice session throughout the weekend. Unfortunately, Gabriel clipped the wall during his final attempt in Q1, resulting in terminal damage to his R26, while Nico – who had progressed through Q2 with a strong P6 – was hampered by some damage while fighting for a place in the top ten and, unable to replicate his earlier pace, bowed out in the middle part of the session. On a track on which overtaking is notoriously difficult, this result is a setback that will complicate work for tomorrow’s race. Nevertheless, the team will set out to maximise any opportunity that may arise as it targets a climb back into the points-paying positions.
